back to school
well for my friends...but not me. cuz im a loser who basically flunked out and doesnt have any money to pay to go to school. im gonna get promoted at dicks sporting goods to a sales lead/manager position in footwear so hopefully i'll be making some real money. but what pisses me off is that when i first started out as a part time associate, i was making $7.25 an hour. everyone else i talk to at work says they started out at $8.00 an hour and said they were told "that whats we start all our associates as". BULLSHIT. so for 3 months i got shafted $0.75 per hour, lets do some ballpark math. i'll say i did 30 hours a week so thats 120 hours a month for a total of 360 hours. i missed out on at least $270. that right there is what i'll be paying for my football ticket($180 per ticket), gas, parking, and whatever else. and when i got moved up to a full time associate i now make $8.00 an hour which is what i should have been making...or so they say. so when i get that sales lead i better get a big pay raise. oh yah, im going to my first football game to watch the cowboys play the buffalo bills on october 8th. pretty pumped. the plan is for me and DK to go but he said he would let me know by tomorrow cuz he has a court thing and owes some money i guess. if not then i'll have to find someone else. so i had some chinese yesterday and today and i always have to have a fortune cookie. and mine said "It's time to bring out your dream, loving side." what a coinkydink. i've been digging this one very attractive, funny, energetic, awesome to be around girl lately and i've always had a thing for her too. so we'll see how bringing this side of me out goes...
