Last Night
so last night i had this whole "go out of town, watch the sunrise" thing planned. it didn't work though. i went to an art show with my best friend. it was nice to hang out with her. we left early because it was starting to rain really badly. do you know how funny it is to watch someone in heal run through a gravel parking lot just to keep from getting their hair wet. so yeah, we spend about thirty minutes on the road, normally it would only take 10 minutes to get home from downtown. so we get back to my apartment. i chat on the phone a bit, and then grab some pillows and cuddle up next to my best friend. FYI she is straight, i was using her so i had something to lay my head on since she sat in the middle of my couch. she didn't care though since she was able to play on my computer all night. anyways, we sat there all night, compared prices of tickets to cancun, watched some law and order, and then i crashed out next to ben on the floor, she talked to a friend of hers on-line, i supposidly wistle snored, and then 11:30pm rolled around, she got tired, went home. needless to say, by 11:30pm my plans to go out of town had crumbled since i was so damn tired. the art show wasn't bad. they had poetry readings that i wish i would have been able to stick around for, but my best friend drove that night, and she doesn't drive in rain. so we had to leave. the art was ok. some people really needed to have stood by there stuff to explain why they put it there because some of it just looked like they dropped there family photos and walked out. but needless to say i enjoyed it. i felt like i found something in SA that i deal with. i think i am going to hunt for more art shows in SA. they would so be worth my time.
so today is the first day of spring. it is eric's birthday (asshole), and i think i am suppose to go to my parents house tonight, but i refuse to. so i am going to clean house. clean room, and do some sociology reading. maybe even work on my economics work.
ok, well off to lay down for a few more hours. 9am is a little early on sunday. i know i was awake early last week but not today. i'm going back to bed!!!
