Hello Journal. Long time no update.
Hectic little past week. Everything was going on.
Yesterday was our first Mock Trial court case. It's funny how boring that sounds. Anywho. Addison, Ryan, and I were crammed onto a tiny little witness bench behind the lawyers in the back of the room. Then the school we're going up against pops in and we all have to push over to make room for their three witnesses. While the other team was coming in, I was pointing out which guys on the team were hot and which ones weren't. Addison and Ryan started laughing and then commented with, "You're such a girl." Then I commented back by accidently insulting them both, "There are NO hot guys in Mock Trial." Oops, well the guy from the other team who cross examined me wasn't too bad. Of course our team for the first time, got eaten alive. Why? It could be because the other team was EXTREMELY well prepared compared to us. I accidently said the wrong thing as a witness, Ryan didn't know his statement really well, and Addison was stiff because he was nervous. Our lawyers did better then us witnesses, that's always a good thing. Miss Lowe wasn't too happy with our team though.
Moving on...
I stayed home from school today. Why? Well the flu and mono has been going around our small school. Nick got the flu over the weekend and I had shared a drink with him when he had it but didn't show any symptoms, so I got the flu from him. I slept a lot. I happened to be absent on the day we get Report Cards and pass in those demented Matchmaker tests. Those are stupid and are going to make people more paranoid in our school, or make more people stab each other in the back.
The good news from the past couple of weeks is that my bestest friend, Stephanie, is now in 4 of my classes. Yay! It means some serious chi-tweaking because I was already all cozy with the people in my classes. Of course, things like that never last that long.
Oh yes... the Snoball. It was weird. Allison and I have officially decided to forget about what happened at the Snoball, and move on with our lives. Kay? ^_^
Now I'm going to go to bed because it's late here and tomorrow I go back to school. Tootles.
