So. Damned. Tired. But I had to read this and comment.
So, this existed before, of course, but obviously you added a few pieces at the end and I think you edited the rest as well, because it seems to flow a lot better than I remember.

Cordelia was great fun, of course, and I wonder if she'll be appearing again. I certainly hope so - Didi would have fun with an aunt like Cordy.

The general idea also makes a lot more sense, with Shinobi only controlling a certain (relatively poor/weak) branch of the Club. After all, Emma is the White Queen. Always. Roberto is an ally of sorts, and it seems he still is the Black King. And Cordelia is the White Rook, and obviously helping Emma. So it makes a lot more sense that Shinobi's version of the Club is kinda rogue, and not controlled by the Lords Imperial, which wasn't clear enough in the previous version. (Sorry, but I find politics fascinating, especially the kind of politics like these, where Emma obviously still has her position as White Queen but is not directly part of the Club)

Emily's interactions with Shinobi were also better, probably due to stuff being clearer, as I've written above.

Awesome sex scene. I love it how even when Emily is the one supposedly in control, Emma being tied, inhibited by the collar and high on drugs and and Emily having the cock, Emma is still topping from the bottom.

The ending was beautiful, and now I can't wait for the next part. It was amazing how strong emotions the issue raised between the two of them. On the one hand, Emma, who feels like she's losing control and forced to commit to a relationship when she can't, and thus risk abandoning them all. On the other side, Emily, who wants this, even if she doesn't want to force Emma to choose commitment.Emma and Emily's closing lines were simply perfect. I really really can't wait for the second part, where they have it fully out, and talk about both their experiences.

P.S. Does Emma already know the truth about the Cuckoos being her daughters by now? Or is that not the case in this universe? Does Emily know? Does it affect their relationship? Because I think it could be a factor in this whole mess, Emma knowing she's never been a real mother before Didi and Emily.

Yes! The whole politics of it was bothering me so much. It didn't make any sense. That was really why I rewrote it. And, mm, I believe someone criticized the sex. I had to improve it.

Oh man, the Cuckoos are so... stressful to me. Emma definitely doesn't know yet, if it's even true in this universe. That was such a freaking creepy storyline. Even if it is true, it's very likely going to stay on the downlow for most of this.

I know! Politics are awesome. Do you even have a clear idea of what exactly Emma's position actually is in the Club now? Obviously formally she's still the White Queen, and still in all their legal plans to get power. But is she considered a Lord Imperial? How much influence does she actually have? How much did she lose by saving Emily and not participating in the sex parties and everything? If you have anything on it, I want to know!

Ooh, yeah, the whole Phoenix -song storyline was extremely creepy. It did make Esme's death scene all the more powerful. But it was still creepy, especially, because you know, for someone like Emma, who always seems to want a family and all... well, she still treats them like students, not her daughters, and it's not clear what they feel about her either... well, I'm sure you'll manage to make it work, whatever you do with it.
