Found your Emma/Emily stuff a couple of weeks ago. I've read all of it since then. My favorite is the Women of Diamond through Fake Empire world. You're very talented. Hope you keep writing.

It was interesting and amusing that they left her with no bed assuming that she'd be sleeping with Emma the whole time. I like the story of the story too, but I especially like the swimming lessons. Nice open-ended poetic finish to the chapter. I can't help but constantly wonder when Emma is reading her mind, I'd be interested in seeing more evidence of that, right now she seems to only read her as much as anyone else would be able to, but I keep thinking that it's probably her way of blending in and not being obvious.? (Isn't it funny how people 'edit' things in their own head to fit the reality that they more readily believe in)

Awesome. Your description of their feelings and reactions is very raw, realistic and pull the reader in their world.
I liked the parallel you made with Emily's condition as a slave with the one of Captain Blood's. Did you see the film with Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland?

This one was very raw with Emily's emotions. I loved the angst of it, the introspective way Emily views her own emotions, and parallels herself to the captain. I too, often find myself wondering when Emma is reading Emily, however I don't feel that it is truly vital to the story. As always thank you for ... you.
