Really, this was just fantastic. I do love me some period drama. Costumes, propriety and all manner of secrets. A bit of a suprise with the introduction of Christian, but a fresh new twist. I liked the way you built the connection between Emily and Christian. Does this mean a Frost family battle for Emily's affection? Great stuff.

Looking forward to the next thrilling Installment!

What fun; I like how she considers running away but decides the effort isn't worth it especially before she goes to France and also because she 'senses' that she wouldn't be free that easily from Adler. (A kind of like/discomfort type of dynamic it seems)For a moment you had me thinking that we had an Emma in drag, but I'm thinking and preferring that this isn't the case in this story. I imagine her coming across Emma as her usual highly successful and intimidating persona being strong and exuding that sexy and powerful femininity.

Bruising sucks! I hope you heal up and feel better. No snow here, just a mildly cool breeze that hints of light showers in the evening and a possible high-wind warning throughout the night.

Oh this is great. It's a period piece, but Emily still reads like a young Emily Prentiss. The story and setting feels vaugley like a Bronte novel, but it keeps it's own charecter.

Lady Adler's charecter isn't as far off from the original as I thought it would be. I wonder if Emily will ever read the letters she is dropping off. In Paris, perhaps.

Of course the story in Paris is the Frost family. Finally, Emma's brother is in a fic as a charecter. He's utterly charming...I can't wait to meet Emma.

I am definitly looking forward to the next entry!
