Very interesting chapter, it's wrapped up as a rather prologue one for the many intrigues and questions it contains.
Did Emma arrive in time to pull Emily out of Shaw's trap? Which is what BTW? Or will she ignore her to achieve her business?
Will Emily accept her help? Or is she so fed up with her telling her what or not to do, that she'll refuse? Will she discover the truth about her parents history in the Club? The meaning of Red and White?
Will they join forces and plot against the plotters?
Who's the White King?
Is what Shaw said about Emma's past in the Club true? Will this affect their relationship in a good or bad way?
Are we going to read about Jean and Ro reactions about that party?
I hope you'll update very soon.

I will withold my 'told ya so' and 'why didn't they listen?!' until the end.

I really LOVED Sebastian talking about Emily's mother. It was something that had to come up, but with all the Emma/Emily drama going on it sort of faded into the background. Emily is a double legacy and I think she set herself up to learn some very unsavory things about her parents.

Emma, on the other hand, knows exactly what to expect from her father. I'm not sure which is going to turn out worse.

Then of course, there is the club and it's dark and twisted dangers. There is the mysterious White King, I have my suspicions, and there is the small little somewhat insignificant detail of Selene.

I echo Emily's sentiments, what the fuck has she gotten herself into

I can't wait to find out!
