I'm glad you posted on this; I like this story! It's nice to 'feel' the lapse of time through Emily's eyes while she's in this hell-hole. Way to keep the characters complex and interesting. I'll be watching for the next installment :)

All right... I don't see where is this going... and I like it. I liked it with only the first part, and with each part that you are adding I like it even more... and in a way I'm starting to "hate" you because I am a sucker for happy endings and I can't see this having one >.<.
Great work, specially the way you mix what we know about the canon character with what you do with them(and not only at this installment).

I'm also a huge sucker for happy endings or at least endings which give some threadbare possibility of hope and happiness. I think you could still make that little glimmer appear. Rescue's perhaps? what with all the cities about to be bombed and whatnot.

I loved the insight into emily and her situation - now maybe a followup of Emma getting hurt as she was wounded in action and then a final bringing them together only so they may have to stay apart but love from afar??
