Yay! I actually did a happy dance when I saw this new chapter was posted :) I discovered your writings only a little while ago, so I've been catching up on all the Lost Empire stories. I really enjoy your writing style, you've set up a detailed AU and managed to completely sell me on the believability of Emma/Emily as a pairing. I'm sad to say I had no clue who Emma was prior to reading your stories as my exposure to the X-men was limited to a few cartoon eps I caught as a kid and the more recent movies, but I feel like I know her character well now from your stories. Keep up the writing, I eagerly await the next installment! =)

Yay Emily! That sentence made me smile. I really love how this is developing. Another thing I like is how each Emma is different from the others. The same applies to Emily, but it's not as apparent to me (could be because most of your fics are from her PoV). They're the same core character, but you can tell that the universe they live in has shaped them differently. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but it really adds something to your fics.

i just wanna say i'm SOOO diggin' the way your working the alternate universes & Didi is just too cute. and i'm still trying to figure out how you are able to tell so much in a one chapter. & i'll only admit it under "penalty of death" but i kinda of let out a lil' *squee* everytime i see a new update from you. awesome

*snickers* I'm not gonna lie. Emma's constant use 'like' when she speaks kinda gives me the imagery that she's a valley girl or something! XD Actually the dialogue you've given her seems to be less sophisticated than that of the Emma we've seen from your on-going series, so that makes her a bit OOC at first glance, but I suspect that might be due to her relatively younger age, right?

Since Emma doesn't have access to the Hellfire Club as part of the Inner Circle (yet) or isn't a successful CEO like I first imagined in this AU, I really eager to know how everything will progress in terms of Emily's relationship with her and her status as a 'mother' to Didi.

Wonderful chapter! I hope we get to see more of the family dynamic soon!
