Oh happy day~
Here's the side yard sans dead truck, now raked and cleaned of trash. Looks much better.
Heh, I know just what time of day to take a picture so I get that sun ray effect. The people who were trespassing in my yard trying to get the abandoned, illegally parked truck running again have not come back. Hopefully, they saw it gone and decided to forget about it. The tools they left behind Friday are gone too, so I'm thinking they collected their stuff and left. Hooray. The people trying to clean the house out were back today. I listened to them complain about having to work with the smell inside and how disgusting it was in there. Hopefully they're being paid lots of money for that job.
In the back yard I have copious flowers blooming. Thanks to the unseasonably cool temperatures (only 87 F today, brrrrr!) The flowers haven't gone into a dormant stage like they usually do because it's 100 F every day this time of year. No complaints about cooler temps or having lots of flowers to enjoy.
I've been enjoying my day lilies very much. I really like the original orange ones you see growing in ditches in the eastern US.
I love echinacea. Very pretty flowers and medicinal. The lavender is blooming too, so it will be time to make lavender sticks again soon. Once the flowers and herbs are done blooming, I should have vegetables to deal with. My broccoli's making heads!
