thats the name of the birdy
we had a good day with it..
i woke up this morning & came in the living room & kayden was sleeping on the couch by its cage
then she spent the first 5 or so hours of the morning standing or sitting on the back of couch talking to it..lol (we moved the bookcase its sitting on closer to the couch)
all morning long i work on putting my hand in its cage & not moving it.. the first few times the bird would move around away from it.. by afternoon he'd let me let me put my finger right up under him
shortly after he'd put one claw on my finger
by late afternoon he'd hop up on my finger & sit
later michael came home & within an hour he'd hop up on michaels finger
we took him out the cage after michael came in from work
.. the first time kinley was awake & we ended up having to put him back up pretty quickly. i gotta work with her on not running at him
then later she went to sleep & we got him out again...we let him run around & check out the living room.. after a few mins he'd let me come up to him & he'd climb on my finger..but wouldnt stay long.. he likes to try to fly.. but his wings are clipped.. so cant fly up high.. but he'd use me to get himself up on high things
i allready ordered him a bigger cage :O & 2 more toys off ebay
& if all goes well in a few weeks after he is really trained to us we will get a 2nd bird so he'll have a friend..lol yes.. we are suckers
