The Last Year in 30 Seconds

Jul 18, 2006 20:06

I haven't updated this one in the longest time. Does anybody actually read this? Anyway. I know it must seem like I've disappeared off the planet completely, but I haven't. I've actually been journaling quite regularly, but in a different journal few of you know about. A lot has changed.

So here's the past year in 30 seconds. Went to college. Had a blast the first week. Didn't the rest of the time. Met very few people. Did well. Locked myself out of my apartment once. Completely cut off communication with TB. Took an art class. Got sick from expired butter. Put a couple names on a list of teachers that annoy the hell out of me. Started writing a bunch. Realized how much Java really sucks. Got tired, low on energy, lonely, and depressed. Went to therapy (though for another reason which I will go into later for a select few people). Kept myself sane. Took a psychology class which I really liked except I was so distracted I ended up with a C. Helped a woman named Lori with her wireless network. Regained my spirituality. Moved out of my crappy apartment. Made arrangements for a nicer apartment next year. Fell victim to an email scam where someone sent me $3800 in counterfeit money orders expecting me to cash them. Moved back home for the summer. More therapy. Started a job at the community college library where my mom works. Took a class in AutoCAD which I mastered in three days. Everybody got an A in that class. Now I'm all a mess.

I don't have anything more to say for the general audience. There will be another post for a few select people I feel I can trust. And believe me, it's a doozy. :D
