(no subject)
i have a problem:
im going to new york for a week, and im leaving THIS THURSDAY and i still havent told my grandparents. to some, this may not seem like a big deal, but here at my house, it is. the idea of me, 21 and single, boarding an airplane by myself, flying to a city, (AND NEW YORK CITY AT THAT) alone will absolutely appall them. and to boot, im staying with a guy that they dont know.
i have absolutely no idea how to approach this. i could sit them down at the dinner table and be like, "hey guys i want to talk to you about something" but im terriffied. they are going to flip out because they are old and things like this dont happen. ok i have courage this second, ill try now. will update.
