I'm on the till again, loving this shift so very, very much. I'm listening to my two boys flirt with each other over our little walkie-talkie radio things, and it makes me laugh. One big happy family, eh? Also I'm watching a plastic bag being blown around in the wind outside, and am both laughing at and missing American Beauty. Pretty movie. Also, we recently booked things for Italy! We now have flights there and back, and accommodation in Venice, at least. Clare and Mark and Thyri and I are going to be able to have plane shenannigans on the way over, and hopefully many more while we're there. I'm sad that my time over there is so short, and I'll barely get to see Rome. Anyway, the plan is this, for those of you who care or don't already know:
Arrive in Rome, stay in Sorrento the first three nights, day trips to Naples, Pompeii, etc. (+ birthday fun for me!), then up through Rome briefly, for one night. The next night is in Florence, then up to Venice for two nights of Carnivale carousing. And then it's a return to Rome for my last night, and back on the plane. It will be an action packed little period of time, but at least I'll get a taste of things.
It's all very exciting.
xoxo
