hmm a quick one (possibly!)...

Ended up getting completely and utterly miserable last night, to the extent that I managed to offend pretty much my entire family, I think. Which is highly non-ideal, to say the very least. Especially since it's not certain I'm going to see my grandparents when they fly back in early May...

On the flipside, decided to go through with what I've been toying with over the past few days and buy some stuff on the iTunes music store. Having resized about 400 photos last night, I should've hopefully made enough space on my hard drive... May want to check that at some point.

In any case, I got several tracks by Madonna - for some reason I had an urge to get 'Sorry' [it seems kinda appropriate at some strange level...], so I got 'Hung Up' as well, and 'Hollywood', 'American Life' and 'Die Another Day' to boot. I've always liked those tracks, but never got round to buying the entire album/singles. Oh well. Along with that, bought the 2nd album by McFly ('Wonderland') - which is actually pretty good, even if many of the songs are either too depressing to listen to, or too cheerful and happy :

‘Cause I’ve got you to make me feel stronger
When the days are rough and an hour feels much longer
Yeah when I got you
Oh to make me feel better
When the nights are long they’ll be easier together' etc etc etc, [need I SAY more?!]

so most only got 4* max.

But the non-acoustic version of 'I'll be OK' is FANTASTIC and just the thing I needed - that got five, obviously. I got the Acoustic version for free on iTunes back in August, which was what originally got me interested in McFly. As far as a freebie goes, it's not done too badly!

Along with that I, by some strange impulse, got 'All About Us' by TATU, though how much I'll be able to listen to that without making connections to certain people/things I'd rather not think about/etc, I'm not sure. We'll see.

But yes, my music collection has been injected with new life. Now, at least, I'll have SOMETHING new to listen to on the train!

:)
