Jon, I've really been convulsing in agonizing joy over these entries of yours. You've got a friggin' A-Plus narrative voice, as well as a lovely hold on words--but I've been telling you that for years, buddy boy. It's good to see that the faraway city of Kyoto is keeping your heart warm and your belly full and your brain massaged (and hopefully other significant organs as well!!). I'll be happy to have you back though. I got your delicious postcard a few days ago, but I didn't want to risk sending one back to you, seeing as you've been in Japan for a while now and probably due to return in a matter of days. The boy I'm currently spending copious amounts of time with (read: fucking) spent 3 years in Japan, Osaka I think, and recognized the artist of the postcard art straight off the bat, said he was an scoundrel notorious for caracaturizing actors with unflattering exaggerations and whatnot.
I propose, if you're due back to boiling Florida weather any time soon, that you, I, and Anikacheeks descend southwards once again to the lonesome and beautiful city of South Beach to dip our bodies in the blue water and let the sun bake cancer into our hides. WHAT SAY YOU?
