I kept a smile on my face for anyone looking, tried to turn away questions before being asked
I'm so hungry. Stress goes straight to my stomach and then I don't want to eat. There's nothing to eat in this house anyway, don't know why I bother trying. Just made myself a burnt bagel which isn't exactly appetizing but I'd be stupid not to eat it at this point.
Hero was good. The format kind of meandered and was a bit confusing but ultimately I liked the way it told the story at hand. There were some beautiful scenes - I liked the usage of color in the different flashbacks particularly. I didn't like reading the subtitles on a big screen, though. On home TVs subtitles are easy to read quickly because they're so small, but on theater screens you actually have to move your eyes back and forth quite a bit to see the whole subtitle.
It was a little awkward because I went with Tony and Ren and the conversation centered around Warcraft strategies about 80% of the trip. I've never been much of a Warcraft fan. Well, let me rephrase that - I've never been much of an RTS enthusiast at all. So, er, I just kind of sat there.
Listening to Yo La Tengo isn't really helping me out right now. Time to give WinAMP a swift kick in the ass.
