Choice after play
Cast: Nakagawa Himeko X Chinen Yuri, OCs, JE Talent.
Summary: Himeko, a girl who always with her books and one of so-called loser. Someone want to change it by making her join drama club?

nbsp; “Himeko, could we borrow your homework?” ask one of her classmate and Himeko just give the book to the person before continue reading book.
Her best-friend and also her cousin, Karina pulls down the book before says, “You shouldn’t let they copy your homework or sensei will detect it. You want to be scold again by him?”
“Karina-chan, it’s not wrong to do that.” say Himeko. She actually doesn’t want to make problem with any of students at that school. She’s not brave like Karina who already used to fight and argue with anyone who opposes her.
“That excuse only be used by loser like you.” Say Karina.
“Karina-chan, why you always fight for me when needed?” ask Himeko.
“I’m just passing my spare time.” Say Karina while giggles. Himeko just shook her head with the girl in front of her because know nothing will change her attitude.

After school time end, Himeko decide to go to library to spend her time at there but Karina already pulls her to other place. Himeko ask where Karina want to bring her but the girl just shut her mouth. Karina only releases her when both of them reach at Drama Club room.
“Why we at here?” ask Himeko.
“Minna, here is our new member that will act as our main lead for upcoming play. Her name is Nakagawa Himeko.” Say Karina.
“EH?!” Himeko really shock to hear it.

“Wah, our Himeko will act in school play. I’m sure that I will go to see it.” say Himeko’s mother, Sora.
“But it was Karina-chan who pulls me into this matter.” Say Himeko.
“You really suitable with the character.” Say Karina. Karina stays at Himeko and her family’s house because it nearer to the school and her parent stay at country.
“Who write the script?” ask Himeko’s father, Masaki.
“Me, and the president told me that I need to find the main lead by myself as no one suitable for it. That’s why I choose Himeko chan.” say Karina. Himeko can’t say anything because of her parent really work out when know their only daughter will act on stage.
“Why you tell them about it?” ask Himeko when both of them at living room and try to finish their homeworks.
“They should know about it and it also time for you to change yourself for your own good. You don’t have to worry about it because we only do slight change on you and not extreme want.” Say Karina.
“I don’t want to do that.” say Himeko.
“Okay, fine but only make it for the play.” Say Karina. Himeko really angry and jealous with Karina; angry because do things like she want and jealous because she always confident to do anything that she want.
“Himeko-chan...” Karina’s voice brings her back to reality.
“What is it?” ask Himeko.
“You make wrong answer for that question.” Say Karina. Himeko quickly correct the answer while Karina just laughs at her. Himeko decide to make some revision even Karina already gets into her room.

“Karina, you should already choose male main lead by now.” Say Nana.
“Oh, about that...” Karina looks around the club room and notices someone from outside the window. She jump off from window and grab a make student before says, “He suitable for it.”
Everyone not surprise to see Karina jump off from the window because it is usual for them to see Karina like that. Karina pulls the guy into the club room and introduces him, “This is Gymnastic Club’s Ace and our popular Ikemen, Chinen Yuri.”
“Why you choose him?” ask Daiki.
“I know he always cold with everyone and never open. No one suitable for the role other than him.” Say Karina.
“I don’t want to do it.” say Yuri.
“It already too late for it. Here is your script and make sure you read it for tomorrow’s practice.” Say Karina as she gives the script to Yuri. He acts like what to hit Karina but Karina just ignore it and continue listening to new songs that she downloaded yesterday.
“And she will be your partner in upcoming play.” Say Yuya as pushes Himeko forward.
“This loser?! I don’t want to do it.” say Yuri.
“Just because she’s a loser, you don’t want to do it?” ask Karina.
“What did you say?” ask Yuri.
“You are just running away from challenge. I never know that our school popular Ikemen is actually a coward.” Say Karina as she glares to Yuri.
“Okay, I will accept the challenge and make you regret with what you talked just now.” Say Yuri.
“Ah-ha~~, I would to feel regret like what you said as I never feel it.” say Karina as she smirks to him.
“Karina-chan, you shouldn’t say like that.” say Himeko but Karina only pat her shoulder without saying anything. That’s mean she never regret with her words and actions just now.

“What I have to follow you to go out today? I want to go to library to study.” Say Himeko when Karina drags her to shopping mall.
“Just find things for the play.” Say Karina.
“I thought it was supposedly did by those who responsible for the costumes.” Say Himeko.
“It’s not about costumes for the play but... we need to repair your hair before everything else.” Say Karina while touches Himeko’s hair.
“No, I love my hair.” Say Himeko.
“I don’t want a loser stay as a loser forever.” Karina’s words make Himeko left speechless at that moment. That is the first time for Karina serious with her as usually, she’s just playing around with her.
Karina makes Himeko get into exclusive hair salon and meet someone. Karina hugs the person while saying, “Jun-kun, I’m here again.”
“Wah, Karina-chan... what make you come here? You just come here last month. You want to change your hair again?” Say Jun. Himeko guesses that Karina always go there for trim her hair.
“Not for me but for her. She already has great look but the hair disturbing my sight. Could you fix it for me?” say Karina as she pulls Himeko’s hair.
Jun just observe Himeko’s hair for awhile before says, “Okay, I know what I should with her hair. How about you?”
“I will wait for her at waiting area and maybe get some sleep because I really tired last night in order finish my homework.” Say Karina before leave them. Jun just make Himeko sit one of the chair in that salon and begin his work.

“What I accept that bitch’s challenge easily?” ask Yuri while sit in cafe with his friends.
“Maybe you feel that you will get beat if you decline the challenge?” guess Ryosuke.
“But it really surprising to see girl like that jump off from the window easily.” Say Yuto.
“Her name is Kuzuryu Karina and she is one of Drama Club’s member that really popular that really with her ruthless action. It seems everyone really want to avoid making problem with her as she never scared to make something that no one could think.” Say Keito.
“Wah, it seems you know a lot about that girl.” Say Ryosuke.
“We in same class and the girl who will act with you are her cousin.” Say Keito.
“How about you just do it and maybe you will open yourself after that.” say Yuto.
“What do you mean by that?” ask Yuri.
“You know what I mean by that.” say Yuto. His friends know that Yuri only talk with them and always cold towards almost everyone even he’s great in gymnastic.

“Karina, how you could get idea for the script?” ask Kei when they practice for it.
“I just both of them change. I already observe them for awhile and know something will happen soon.” Say Karina.
“But do you think it can end smoothly like what you think?” ask Yuya.
“You just worry about weird things. Nothing goes wrong with my plan.” Say Karina.
“Karina, someone wants to meet you.” Say Nana. Karina sees who is it and notice it is Keito. Keito signals to meet him at rooftop to talk about something.
Karina just takes her hand phone and notebook before leave to rooftop. She close the door before lock it when she arrive at the rooftop. She asks, “What do you want to talk about until want to meet at here?”
“Why you suddenly make Yuri involve with this matter? I know you want to change your cousin but you don’t need to drag him along into your plan.” Say Keito.
Karina just leans against the wall and giggles. Keito continues his words, “If you want to revenge on what I did on you, don’t involve other people and do it straight to me.”
“Lucky things that I don’t know how to revenge on someone like you and I also want your friend to change. I know him need someone beside him.” Say Karina.
“He still has family and us as his friends.” Say Keito.
“Ah, it really hard to talk with narcissist people like you or you have something wrong at here?” ask Karina while points to her head.
“You know I could beat you if you make mistake again.” Threat Keito.
“Yeah, but I know you would never dare to do it. If you hit a girl, people will call you as loser and your title as Ikemen will disappear like vapour.” say Karina.
“Can someone like you be considered as a girl?” ask Keito.
“Maa, depend on you but you would never know what other people see it. If you want to say about it again, just do it after the practice finish. I need to make changes on the script when needed.” say Karina. Without waiting for reply from Keito, Karina just leaves the rooftop and back to the practice.
“Anything happen when I’m not here?” ask Karina.
“Nothing happen but I think we need to make at certain part after watch the practice.” Say Kota.
“Which part?” ask Karina as she open the script and the discussion begin.
Himeko just stay at one corner of the stage to relax after the practice. She just drinks from the drinking bottle to relieve fatigue and relax herself. Yuri asks, “How you could agree with her idea?”
“Karina-chan would never turn back when she decides to do it and I also enjoy doing this thing.” say Himeko.
“So, it was your fault to make me involve in this matter.” Say Yuri.
“Why you keep put the blame on others?” ask Himeko.
“You don’t understand what I’m thinking.” Say Yuri.
“Yeah, I’m not popular student like you. I’m just a loser in this school that everyone would like to bully.” Say Himeko.
“It’s not my wish to become popular.” Say Yuri.
Himeko want to say something but Kota as the director says, “Okay, our practice only until here. We will continue it next week. Dismiss.”
Karina runs to them and says, “Himeko-chan, let’s go to my favourite ice cream shop. I feel like want to eat ice cream right now.”
“Ne, Karina-chan... why we continue the practice next week?” ask Himeko.
“Tomorrow is weekend and no one wants to come to school. Also, the play is next month.” Say Karina.
“Wah, I thought there will no weekend for someone like you.” Say Yuri.
“Just shut up. Ah, I think I left something at class. Could you wait me in front of school gate when you’re done?” say Karina as she check inside her bag.
“Of course but hurry up.” Say Himeko.
After see Karina leave the place, Yuri says, “Both of you really look like couple. The thing that only need to change, that Kuzuryu change into boy.”
“We’re cousin and she just worry about me. She doesn’t want same thing happen again.” Say Himeko.
“Same thing happen?” Yuri curious about it but can’t ask as Himeko already leave the place and his friends already wait for him.
“Why you take so long?” ask Ryosuke.
“I just relax for awhile. The practice really tiring.” Say Yuri.

During weekend, Himeko leaves the house without make Karina notice about it. Sora says, “You don’t have to worry about it. Karina-chan never wakes up early on weekend.”
“I also hope like that.” say Himeko. She just leaves the house and goes to library. She takes her favourite seat and begins her study. She always likes to be at place like that because it can give calmness for her.
She notices someone familiar arrive at her table that she sit and quickly close her mouth. Yuri realizes her and says, “Ah, you also here. Where is the other one?”
“Karina-chan usually wakes up late at day like this and she doesn’t really like to go place like this. What are you doing here?” Say Himeko.
“I think to make a little bit research about the role that I get for the play.” Say Yuri.
“I don’t think doing research is enough for it. Usually, Karina-chan will make the role in the story based on the real people.” Say Himeko.
“You always read her scripts?” ask Yuri.
“Can be say that I always read. She always asks me for opinion after she finishes her script.” Say Himeko.
“So, what are you doing here?” ask Yuri again. He really curious about the girl in front of him who never shows interest with him or his friends.
“I want to make revision before Karina-chan disturb me again.” Say Himeko.
“Can I ask you something? What does your cousin mean by ‘same thing happen again’?” ask Yuri.
“I’m not really sure about it but it seem someone dump her because of some weird reason that no one could imagine.” Say Himeko.
“That’s why she seems protective towards you.” Say Yuri.
“She just gets the responsibility to take good care of me from my parent who always worries about me.” Say Himeko.
“Every parent worries about their children.” Say Yuri.
“But I don’t think like that when I saw Karina-chan’s parent.” Say Himeko.
“No one will show their worry towards someone.” Say Yuri. Both of them talk together for several minutes before Yuri decide to practice the lines for the act with Himeko at his place.

“EH?! Where is Himeko-chan?” ask Karina as she get into the living room.
“Like usual, at library. You want to disturb her again at there?” Say Sora.
“Maybe not this time. I need to go out to meet my brother to have a talk with him and I will come back home late.” Say Karina.
“Make sure you bring the key along.” Say Sora. Karina just nod before she leave the house but it seem someone already wait for her outside the house. She just asks, “What are you doing at here at the first place?”
“Just wondering if you will do something to revenge my friend.” Say Keito.
“For your information, I would never revenge on something that happens 3 years ago. At that time, we just immature kids.” Say Karina.
“So, where you want to go?” ask Keito.
“Meet someone special who knows to appreciate other people.” Say Karina. Keito just follow Karina until she get near to a car and get into the car.

After they finish their practice, Yuri says, “Wah, you really have talent in things like this.”
“Thanks to Karina-chan. She always make me act like that when she want.” Say Himeko.
“You always talk about your cousin. People may mistake both of you are couple.” Say Yuri.
“Maybe because only her always help me in many things.” Say Himeko.
Yuri push the hair strands that cover Himeko’s face to behind her ear and says, “You look better than before. Why you don’t want to wear more beautiful clothes when go to school or time like now?”
“The clothes would never represent my heart and I just want to hide it. People always say that everyone tends to has mask to hide their real face and I also have mask to hide myself.” Say Himeko.
“People just want to hide because they don’t want to face any troubles in their life. Everyone needs to open their mask and enjoy the life.” Say Yuri.
“How about you? People always say that you rarely talk with anyone at school.” Say Yuri.
“I just focus to fulfill what my otosan expect within me and that’s make me rarely talk. I feel like what your cousin does is correct thing.” Say Yuri.
Since that day, Yuri and Himeko always together with reason that they want to practice for the play. Keito still suspect Karina plot something behind everyone and want to dig it out but never success. Yuri and Himeko’s closeness become hot topic among the students.
On the costume fitting, everyone really surprise to see Himeko’s beauty as she never wear dress-up in front of everyone. Yuri asks, “Is this what people say hidden beauty?”
Yuri wants to kiss Himeko’s hand but Karina pushes him before hug Himeko. Other just laugh to see it while Karina, “Wah, you really pretty!! I can imagine the act will become great and you may be debut as actress.”
“Karina-chan, it’s too early to think about it.” say Himeko.
Then, Karina notice Yuri who on the floor and ask, “Eh, what happen to you?”
“You already push me and ask what happen to me, bitch.” Say Yuri as he wants to punch Karina but she already step back to avoid it.
“If you want to fight with me, let’s do it after the play. I don’t want to create bruise at your face as the day is tomorrow.” Say Karina.

“Good luck for today’s play. Your mom and I will arrive before the play begins.” Say Masaki.
“I will do my best. Where’s Karina?” say Himeko.
“She already leaves for school early in the morning. It seems she needs to manage something at school.” Say Sora.
“Weird... usually, she will inform me about it.” say Himeko.
At school, Karina checks everything at backstage in order to make sure everything perfect. She yawns several times as she doesn’t get enough sleep for several nights because make changes. Then, she stands at edge of the stage and suddenly loses her balance.
She just closes her eyes and wait for her body touch the ground by she could feel a pair of arm catch her. She opens her eyes and realizes it is Keito. He asks, “What are you doing at here until fall off from stage?”
“It’s not your business. Leave me alone.” Say Karina as she stands up.
“If I’m not at here, maybe you already seriously injured.” Say Keito.
“Arigatou for helping me.” Say Karina. She wants to walk but her slowly lose her conscious. Keito just lift her up and says, “It seem you really tired. You need sleep for awhile.”

“Karina-chan, I can’t do it without you.” Say Himeko.
“Stop talking nonsense. You can do it. I can’t go to see the play because I feel really sleepy right now.” Say Karina.
“Don’t worry. Everything will go well like I planned. You should get ready for the play and I want to sleep.” Say Karina.
Himeko really panic at that time because usually Karina will help her but not at that time. She keeps moving around to calm down. Yuri just get hold her hand and says, “You don’t have to worry about her. She will be fine and you will have great performance with all of us.”
Himeko feels calm with his words and the play become great memory for her. Everyone really enjoy watching the play and keep gives comment the storyline seem real. After that, Yuri and Himeko take chance to walk around the place to enjoy the festival.

“Why you help me even you hate me?” ask Karina when she wakes up and realize Keito still at side of the bed.
“I just worry about you.” Say Keito. Karina doesn’t say anything and just stay on the bed. Keito gather something inside him before says, “Okay, I’m sorry about what I said to you.”
“You only apologize on things that you do after 3 years? That’s really funny, Okamoto Keito.” Say Karina.
“I just too stupid to say that you’re not worth like other people. I shouldn’t say like that to you.” Say Keito.
“Yeah, just because I’m not girlish like what you always want, it doesn’t give reason to call me like that. If I know that you told me, I would never confess to you, Okamoto Keito.” say Karina.
“You never change. You will call me with my full name when you’re angry with me.” Say Keito while chuckles.
“How could I change it when I already used to it? I never feel anything like what I feel on you.” Say Karina.
“Just give me chance to fix it.” say Keito.
“After your friend and Himeko-chan change, I will consider about it.” say Karina. She just neat up her clothes and leave the place but Keito grabs her hand.
“Let me go.” Say Karina. She tries to escape from him but both of them trip over something and fall down.
“Karina-chan, I bought your favourite takoyaki. You must be hungry.” Say Himeko as she gets into the room with Yuri. Both of them surprise to see Karina on the top of Keito and their lips touch each other.
Karina quickly get up but couldn’t cover her blush while Yuri just wolf-whistle to them. Himeko ask, “Both of you are dating?”
“No, of course no.” Reply Karina.
“Yeah but we used to do it, right?” say Keito.
“Mind to explain?” ask Yuri.
“We couple for a month, 3 years ago and it all my faults that make her become cruel person like today.” Say Keito.
“Yeah, I become cruel person because narcissist people like him.” Say Karina as she pokes Keito’s forehead.
“Is that mean both of you already get back together?” ask Himeko.
“No way. How the play?” say Karina.
“It really great and we will celebrate it after this. That’s why we come here to fetch you and bring along your favourite takoyaki.” Say Himeko.
“Arigatou for it. I’m really starving right now.” Say Karina. Karina just enjoys the takoyaki while leaving the place and Himeko says, “You shouldn’t eat it while walking around.”
“So, how’s Nakagawa?” ask Keito.
“She really great and I think I will never find someone like her in future.” Say Yuri.
“You will confess to her?” ask Keito again.
“I will try to do it without telling you when is it.” say Yuri.
“Yuri-kun, let’s go to meet others at family restaurant to celebrate it. It seem your friends also already at there and only us who have arrive yet.” Say Himeko. Four of them just go to family restaurant to celebrate the day.
“We really happy because our play went smoothly and it all because of our two main lead; Nakagawa Himeko and Chinen Yuri. Let’s enjoy ourselves after hard work.” Say their leader before the party begins.
“Why you choose me and your cousin as main lead for your play?” ask Yuri.
“Of course because no one suitable other than us, right?” guess Himeko.
Karina put her glass aside and says, “No, I just choose both of you because I know both of you are suitable to be together.” She just leaves both of them and goes to bar to take something from there.
“It seems your cousin really great in making plan.” Say Yuri.
“What do you mean by that?” ask Himeko.
“Actually, I already have eye on you since the first day I saw you. I wonder why you never react like other girl and always with your cousin. When your cousin choose me to act with you, I want to scream of joy because I get chance to know about you.” Say Yuri.
“But I’m just not like other girls.” Say Himeko.
“And that’s make my heart being reserve for you. And now, I want to ask if I can make you as my girlfriend?” say Yuri.
“I always want someone to share everything and never thought you will be person. I feel really lucky right now.” Say Himeko.
“Why you feel lucky? Is that mean you accept it?” ask Yuri.
“I feel lucky because you choose me as your girlfriend and the answer is yes.” Say Himeko. Both of them hug and feel really happy at that moment but they suddenly hear click-sound.
“Wah, my cousin couple with one of Ikemen.” Say Karina while holding camera.
Himeko and Yuri want to grab the camera but Karina blocks them to do it. Keito just take the camera from Karina’s hand and ask, “Do you think that you want to sell this picture for money?”
“How you know about it?” ask Karina while try to take the camera back from Keito’s hand but Keito taller than her.
“It seems both of you really look like couple right now.” Say Himeko.
“I also hope like that but she doesn’t want to accept me.” Say Keito while act that he cries but Karina just ignores it.
“I don’t want to become target from his fans.” Say Karina.
“A strong person could say like that...” say Himeko before realize it, “Ah, what should I do? I don’t know how to fight them.”
Yuri just says, “You don’t need to worry about it because I will always at your side.”
Even Yuri’s fans angry about the news but with Yuri’s explanation, everyone begin accept their relationship. Himeko just enjoy her new life story with Yuri while Keito and Karina still as friends as Karina want to focus on her studies first before other things.
