Maybe just a dream (Chapter 3)
Pairing: Kuzuryu Karina X Okamoto Keito
Summary: Karina thinks what happen in that night just a dream but what will happen it is actually the truth?

nbsp; That night, Keito just bring Karina walk around the place to calm her. Keito says, “I never know you really strong girl.”
“Why you say like that?” ask Karina.
“It seem you only cry when no one around you.” Say Keito.
Suddenly, Karina’s phone ringing and she just answer it. Keito could see Karina’s face expression change from smile to sad. Karina hangs the call and says, “Keito, I need to go back to Tokyo right now.”
“EH?! Why you suddenly want to go back? We already agree to go back tomorrow.” Say Keito.
“My papa---he---he gets---into hospital.” Say Karina before she bursts into tears.

“Why you want to go back right now?” ask Keito’s grandfather.
“Karina’s papa get into hospital. That’s why we need to go back right now. Karina really worries about him.” Say Keito.
“Be careful on the way to go back home. Send our regards to your father.” Say Keito’s grandmother. Karina can’t say anything at that time because she still in shock with it. Keito’s grandmother just hugs Karina and whisper something to her.
Then, they go back to Tokyo. Keito just pulls Karina’s head to his shoulder and says, “You should rest for awhile. I will wake you up when we arrive at Tokyo. Which hospital did your papa get admitted?”
Karina just tells him about the hospital address and Keito tell the driver about it. Karina slowly dozes off as she’s actually really tired on that day. Keito could feel Karina’s grab at his hand really different from usual because she will avoid grab from anyone.

When they arrive at hospital, Keito just shake Karina’s body slowly to wake her up. Karina wake up and realize that both of them already arrive. She wants to dash from the car but Keito hold her hand and says, “You better calm down first or nothing good will happen.”
“Let me go, Keito. I need to meet papa right now.” Say Karina.
Keito pull her into hug and says, “If you dashes like what you think, it only cause ruckus. You have to greet him with smile.”
After several minutes, both of them go to hospital and Karina doesn’t even release her hand from Keito. She really needs support from someone to avoid fall apart. Both of them found the room and get into it after knock several times. Karina ask, “How’s your condition, papa?”
“Feel better. You don’t have to worry about me.” Say Mr. Kuzuryu.
“You work too hard. That’s why it attack you again.” Say Karina as crying.
Mr. Kuzuryu signals her to get near to the bed. Karina just gets near and Mr. Kuzuryu hugs her as says, “You’re such a great daughter for us. You should worry about yourself. Just go out and find what you want to do.”
“What I want to do right now is fulfill everything that could make you and mama happy.” Say Karina.
“We really bless to have you as our daughter. I think your mom also will happy up there.” Say Mrs. Kuzuryu as she kisses Karina’s forehead. Keito just look from far and smile with it.

“Keito, arigatou for help me. I don’t think I could repay you back.” Say Karina.
“You don’t have to think about it. Now, I know why you don’t even care to show yourself to other people.” Say Keito.
“What is it?” Karina really wants to know about it.
“You have a great parent even it’s not your biological parent. You really great at my eyes.” Say Keito before kiss Karina at her lips for awhile. After that, he excuses himself to get back to his home. Karina really surprise with it and couldn’t move anywhere.
“Karina, are you okay?” ask Mrs. Kuzuryu. She goes to buy juices for her husband and could see Karina froze at her standing point with red face.
“I’m okay.” Say Karina.
“Ah, I know. You must be fall in love with the boy who send you here, right?” say Mrs. Kuzuryu.
“Mama, I’m not falling in love with anyone. Why you say like that?” say Karina as she really shock to hear it.
“Is that true?” ask Mrs. Kuzuryu but Karina can’t answer it. Mrs. Kuzuryu just hugs her and says, “I never think you already grown up.”

Karina wake up from deep sleep and look to the window. She stretches her body and makes light exercise before realize Toma look at her from outside the window. Karina begins feels uneasy with his sight and quickly closes the curtain.
Karina checks on the calendar and realizes that is the day where she will begin her test. She just grabs her towel and goes to bathroom to clean herself. After everything done, she go to dining hall to take her breakfast before go to school.
“Karina, tonight, I will stay at your papa’s hospital to take care of him. Make sure you eat before reach home.” Say Mrs. Kuzuryu.
“Hai~ but I will visit papa after school.” Say Karina.
“You don’t have to go visit him. He just needs rest at hospital. How about you join us to have fun after this?” Say Toma.
“I’m not interested with it. I have test today.” Say Karina. Toma put something into her coffee without anyone notices it but he forgets a fact; Karina doesn’t drink coffee. She just finishes her breakfast and leave for the school.
“What with that disgusting look?” ask Karina when think back about Toma’s attitude. She just walks until reach to her school.

“Ne, why you with Keito?” ask Yura when they go for lunch break.
Karina chokes her lunch and asks, “What do you mean by that?”
“Oh, I was in charge to take care of my younger brother and say you with Keito. Both of you also ki---.” Say Yura before Karina covers Yura’s mouth using her hand.
“Eh~~ what happen? I want to know what happen.” Say Naomi.
“Nothing happen. He just happens to be at there when I want to go to hospital.” Say Karina.
“There? Where is it?” ask Naomi.
“There is--- nothing.” Say Karina as she continues eating her lunch. Yura and Naomi still want to know about what happen between Karina and Keito but Karina just shut her mouth. She has not confident to tell anyone about things happen between her and Keito.
Not far from that place, Keito just look at Karina and her friends’ table. He just smiles to see Karina blush at that time. He says, “She really cute when blush.”
“Who is cute?” ask Ryosuke. Keito really surprise when notice his friends smirk at him. His friends begin ask about many things that related to the girl but Keito reluctant to answer it.
“Mou, you should find a girl to stop all ruckus that those girls make.” Say Yuto.
“Then, let the girl who with me get bully by other girls? I would not do that for awhile.” Say Keito.
“Is that mean that you already have someone that you like? Tell us who the lucky girl is.” Say Yuri but Keito just shut his mouth and don’t want to answer it.

Karina and Naomi walk together to leave the school compound while Yura already leave earlier with Yuto. Then, Karina notices a car already wait outside the school. Naomi says, “Ah, he’s already here. I already tell you to wait at cafe.”
“Your lover?” asks Karina and Naomi just nods her head.
The driver, Kota gets off from the car and says, “I just worry about you. Recently, there is news about pervert around here and afraid something will happen to you.”
“You really lucky, Naomi-chan.” Say Karina as she hugs Naomi.
“Ah, you’re Karina, right?” ask Kota.
“You know me?” ask Karina.
“Oh, we had met during Okamoto’s party but not get chance to greet you.” Say Kota.
“He can be called as oni-chan in his group. Remember the group that 4 popular ikemen join?” ask Naomi.
“He...” Karina takes a look at her watch. “Yabai, I will be late. I’m leaving first.”
Karina walks to go to the hospital and a familiar car stop beside her. It is Keito and he asks, “Yo, going to hospital again?”
“Yeah, I need to visit papa again today.” Say Karina.
“Let me send you to hospital. It’s dangerous to walk here alone.” Say Keito. Karina wants to refuse it but she just accepts it because Keito use reason that he also want to visit Mr. Kuzuryu. They didn’t say anything about the day because they worry about other things.

“Karina, you don’t have to come visit me. I will get discharge tomorrow.” Say Mr. Kuzuryu.
“It feels weird when I don’t meet you even for a day. If I want to call you, it will disturb machines at here and I don’t think you will discharge tomorrow.” Say Karina as she looks all data on the board.
“How you know about it?” ask Keito.
“She already know how to read all the data as she learn it from experience. It really hard to see her act like spoiled brat.” Say Mr. Kuzuryu.
“If I act like that, it only gives problem and more problems to you.” Say Karina.
“Keito, arigatou from bring Karina here. I really worry about her. It seems Toma want to do something bad to Karina.” Say Mrs. Kuzuryu.
“Mama, you don’t have to tell him about that.” say Karina. They leave the hospital after 30 minutes at there. Keito bring her to a restaurant for their dinner as he doesn’t want to let Karina eat alone.
“What does your mom mean by that?” ask Keito while they enjoy their dinner.
“Actually, I don’t really understand it but nii-chan begin creep me out lately.” Say Karina.
“That mean it may be dangerous for you because you will stay at home alone with him. What you’re going to do?” say Keito. Karina can’t answer it as she forgets to think about it. She plans to lock her room but she knows that Toma could easily get into her room if he gets the master key.
Keito notice Karina has doubts and says, “If you want to stay at my house, I could prepare a room for you.”
“I don’t want to burden you.” Say Karina.
“But it better than you stay at other place that you don’t even know. At least, you could feel safe and that person will not have chance to disturb you.” Say Keito. Karina just agrees with the offer and goes to Kuzuryu’s house to take her things before to Okamoto’s household.
“Where are you staying tonight?” ask Toma when he notices Karina bring two bags from her room. Karina just tells him that she’s going to stay at someone’s house. When Karina leave the house, Toma punches the wall and says, “Damn it, my plan would be ruin. It seems I need to use mean way on her.”
