I watched some random episodes of Doctor Who with my roommate earlier tonight. I quite liked it!
The first episode we watched was "Blink," because I've seen the Weeping Angels all over Tumblr and wanted to know what they were all about. I wouldn't call myself a fan of horror, but creative otherworldly horror is always interesting to me. Overall, I really enjoyed it! The Angels were scary, but in a very enjoyable way. I also really enjoyed the bits with the Doctor on the DVD; they were very well done. I didn't expect the episode to be so sad, though. Especially the part with Billy. ;A;
The second episode we watched was "The Vampires Of Venice." I really liked that one also. I really enjoy the Tenth Doctor. He's just always fun to watch. I like how the plot unfolded overall and how the episode ended up feeling both fun and tragic. I don't know if I'm a huge fan of Amy and Rory yet, though. I mean, I guess I like them (Rory more so), but I'm not super crazy about either of them. Maybe that will change once I properly see their backstories.
Also, after we were done watching, I'd realized that I'd been watching it while wearing my Hero of Time shirt. Utter sweetness.
