Suzumura Kenichi 1st Live : "35歳の男を可愛いって言うか? 言えるよ！"
DVDを買ってホントウ二良かった！
I thought that I couldn't fell more in love with this guy, but I was totaaally wrong!!! ^///^
Now, at first some words about the DVD itself:
I like the cover of the DVD. It's really "Becoming"-like. BTW the cover dear kyo_ -chan has posted on her entry is from the cardboard packaging. The DVD case has got another cover; it shows a big blue tree on a white background, the branches are black.
There are many things “growing out” of it, like footsteps, tears, a door, a railway, a compass, a butterfly and so on. I could even find his nickname “Muraken” on one of the branches (I wonder why not his more common nicknames “Suzu” or “Suzuken”)! XD
At first I was expecting a cover like Orepara’s, but this is so Suzu-like. ^^
My only regret is there could’ve been a better booklet featuring bigger-sized pictures… But I’ve enjoyed the content so much, so I don’t really mind the poor made booklet.
Now to the main topic: The Shibuya Concert
The stage arrangement is simple, but very nice, and a flashy one wouldn’t fit anyway.
I love Suzu’s stage outfit, especially the white jacket over white/ resp. black shirt and blue vest and jeans. Yappari, white, blue and black are his colors! *-*
His hair is nice, thankfully not the one he had in Yokohama. ^^°
Overall his hairstyle and clothes are well-chosen, decent and nice, but suitable for a special occasion like this.
His singing has improved amazingly! He’s really A LOT better, compared to his first live performances in Orepara ’08 and Soul Ignition, and I would even add, in Orepara ’09 too! I dare to say, he sang some songs even better live than recorded, especially Intention, Persona, Sense of Wonder and Atarashii Neiro.
I’m very impressed by his powerful voice and even more, since he’s actually got weak lungs due to his bronchial asthma and a good control of breathing is crucial. He obviously worked really hard over the past six/seven months before the concert.
Though he did some lyrical mistakes (he sang the second verse of The whole World twice, and there are few minor mistakes in two other songs too, but I forgot which ones.). I guess, he had so much fun. XD
Suzu looked gorgeous than ever that evening!!! I thought that before, when seeing pictures of the concert, but watching him in live makes me go fangirling like crazy! XD
I guess it’s also partly because he enjoyed it so much and was aglow with happiness. You could literally feel his overflowing positive energy. ^o^
He was everything; handsome, cool, funny, sweet, and CUTE! Good lord! He was soooo cute that evening! *-*

And he showed his most beautiful smile! Who could resist that smile?! ^///^
Yappari, interactions with ppl resp. with his fans are his love!
だから鈴の歌う姿が一番好きだ！！！
His MC's are always interesting and funny. Celebrating the arrival day of his pets as their birthdays is quintessentially Suzu.XD
When he explained the message and idea behind the song Juunigatsu no Sora, I thought immediately "Haha! Me too!" I also like watching ppl while going by train or tram, thinking that everyone is living in his own world of emotion, sensation, thoughts...
BTW I like the faster-paced version of this song better than the recorded one. The same with Robot and Railway bc of the awesome guitar riffs.
Let’s not forget the band members too:
(shy, adorable) Kenji, (energetic, funny) Hiropon-san, (ever-smiling) Ita-san, (flirteous) Uda-san and (cool, adorable) Masaki-san or Ma-kun. ^^
You gotta love these guys!!! Seriously!!! I’m particularly fond of Hiropon-san and Ma-kun! ^o^
Suzu introduced them in such a adorable, funny and lively way and the fans great them with such energetic manner, that you got the feeling, that this was not a Solo concert held by Suzu, but a group concert!
I love the interactions between Suzu and the band members!!! They obviously had much fun together!!! ^_^
The members were so awesome, particularly their Acoustic-Style-performance!!!
And they were equally energetic like Suzu! Especially Hiropon-san who managed to draw my attention occasionally by jumping around and running in circles. XD
The Encore part was touching, though it’s a pity that Suzu didn’t cry (not that I particularly wish him to, but in that case, it would be so cute! XD)
But well, the fans were crying enough. ^^
Speaking of the fans, it seems that apparently this Encore wasn’t arranged. o_O
Oh, and btw there were indeed many fanboys attending, I could clearly hear their voices among the screaming too. XD
If Suzu will hold a concert again, and I think he will, I may consider attending it too. This would be my first concert experience. LOL
Even only watching the DVD makes me feel happy and genki, how would it be like in live?! It makes me want to experience it.^^
Actually I hate crowded places, it scares the hell out of me, especially in concerts, bc ppl here are really crazy, pushing and stamping each others to the ground. But Japanese have better behaviours I’ve heard. Well, I will think about it. ^^
