Though I wanted to wait until my DVD is delivered, I ended up watching the "Making of" eventually. (I will watch the concert in Shibuya-AX on my DVD, when it arrives next week.)
At first I didn't plan to buy the DVD at all, but after I've read several reports about the concert, I've got the feeling that the expense will be worth the money. Unfortunately, the DVD only focus on the event in Shibuya-AX, the Making of features short clips of the other stops, but I kinda understand. I was hoping that at least the clips would show some of the incidents I've read in those reports. (like the Encore in Yokohama, Suzu's stumbling in Osaka...)
And there you are! XD
When Suzu was tripping over sth, his pants was teared off on his left knee! XD I guess, he was too energetic and thrilled to pay attention to his walk.
The Encore in Yokohama was indeed very touching! Suzu even cried a bit! ^o^ And I've spotted our dear
kyo_ -chan! "Ah! Gaikokujin mo iru!" ^_^
I love watching "Making of"s, since I get to see how much effort they put into such events and what it takes too.
Suzu's getting along with the Band Members and the Staff very well. I can see, that they have an amicable relationship. ^^
The band members are likeable to me. And they're so enthusiastic, especially Hiropon-san! During the Orepara-Concert last year, he caught my eyes by his energetic, funny playing!
Masaki-san is like the "cool bassist" and has been around since Orepara 2008. He has also accompanied Suzu to the Promo-Event for the Mitochondria-Single.While playing he's very concentrated and thus rarely smiles, but at Orepara '09, he seemed more energetic.
Speaking of Orepara: On the Kiramune Festival, I thought that Suzu has improved his stage singing, but he has impressed me very much at the Orepara-concert last year! He really was working out his voice over the past months, it seems. I'm looking forward how much he has improved....
BTW I was a bit surprised by the huge crowd of fans, who went to his concert! There were many girls, 10 years, or even more, younger than me, for sure, and housewives too. And what's even more dumbfounding is the amount of fanboys, even Suzu was surprised too by that. ("Yarou ooii ne!")
That reminds me of the "Shounen Onmyouji"-Event, when there were a bunch of fanboys too screaming his name.:P
It's not that I doubt Suzu's charm beyond age and gender, but still, he's "only" a Seiyuu, who's just started his singing career. But well, he is not doing bad till now (his singles have made into the top 30 of Oricon's weekly charts, after all). And he's scored the first place on the general population poll and also recently occupies the highest on the popularity scale, which was conducted with fans of Anime and Seiyuu in particular. I'm happy for him, of course. ^_^ Hopefully he will continue to do that well.
It seems that male Seiyuu in general are getting more popular and particularly appear more in the public eye, which I appreciate very much! ^__^
Speaking of fanboys: I wonder if I will spot that dude again, who I've seen attending all the concerts before. It amuses me somehow, that he seems to be everywhere Suzu is, occasionally with OnoD's fanboy. On the "Making of " I believed to have seen him in the Nagoya-Part...
At the Orepara 2008, he was jumping around, screaming "Kenichi! Aishiteru!" XD
I wonder how those fanboys became fan of male Seiyuu...
Apparently, Mit-chan was at the Concert in Shibuya-AX. I guess, I won't be able to spot him though, bc he was sitting upstairs. (That makes me wonder, if Suzu's other aibou, Sakupyon, has attended one of his concerts too. Or Suzu's parents...)
Now, change of subject: My sister's boyfriend will come visiting us and he promised me to find this month's issues of Pick Up Voice and Animage! That's so much easier and plus, I can save the shipping cost!
I'm totally thrilled! The next weeks will be full of Suzu! *yay*
