catching up in under a thousand words and no pictures worth them
So aside from looking really good with jeans and a plaid shirt on, but not buttoned up, and being able to hold the tools convincingly I am not entirely sure how good we are at this renovation thing. No wait I am sure about it, we are outstanding. Faulty equipment aside we have no had any mishaps. And this place is looking pretty awesome. Not that it did not before, but it has been fun working on it as well. I have never really done this before, but like a lot of things I had not done before this year, I am enjoying the hell out of it.
We drove to Calgary the other day and went to the zoo. It was pretty fantastic, the elephant trainer let us get really close and maybe it was a tie as to who was more excited, her or us. We even got some cowboy to take our picture at the end, wow, yes I said I posed for pictures at a family tourist type place, and I loved it so there.
What else? Oh we took in a Oil Kings game the other night and despite the resemblance of one of the kids on there to me, I can safely say I was no where near Alberta in 1987. ;) Not that I checked or anything like that. Except that I did check and was relieved to hear I was twelve when he was born. However I did find out that him and Dwayne share a hometown. Which really does not mean a whole lot, but amused me at any rate. We are having a backyard campfire tonight, anyone in the neighbourhood feel free.
