Done and passed on. All they do with these cuts is tell the people most hurt by the hurricanes...the elderly, the handicapped, and the poor...that they are of no value to the government. Adding hardship to devestation is NOT the way to go.

Reading that list made me chuckle a little bit. Those were a lot of the things John Kerry said Bush/GOP wanted to cut.

A few congressfolk have stepped up and said they'd be willing to cut their pork out of the transportation bill. Dennis Hastert said that was an admirable move by those people. When asked if he would do the same, he reiterated that it's an admirable move by those people.
