Non-touristy areas
Hey, hope this is okay to post here.
I am going on a trip to Japan with a friend of mine in June and am looking for various places to visit.
I am going to a lot of the touristy spots like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, Odaiba etc...but I am also looking for places in Tokyo that are nice locations but aren't Completely full of tourists.
Can anyone suggest a non-touristy place to visit in Tokyo? Any advice would be great.
[ I have done a lot of my own research but 90% of the sites I have looked at suggest the main areas, so any varied options would be wonderful]
** I am looking anything from cool shrines/temples, nice shopping areas, or even just a pretty/small area that has a nice atmosphere.
