Since I've been daydreaming about winged cats again, I decided to throw 'winged cat' into google images so that I could view all the photomanipulations/traditional art of winged cats my little heart wants.
And, uh, I found these:

It's either matted fur from neglect, weird, deformed bones, or something called 'feline cutaneous asthenia' that makes the skin elastic and fragile. What a sad condition, though! and people think winged cats are demonic...?
Craziness...certainly not the happy, cat wearing cat-made-strap-on wings and flying among the clouds image I was thinking of! Stranger than fiction indeed...
