I almost forgot...this morning I saw one of those odd things that just take your breath away.
It was only 7:30 am when I left the house, and the sun was still rising. Where the sun was rising, the sky was gold and rose and blue, with that hazy 'dawn' quality. But the color faded gradually and in another part of the sky, it was blue, just leaning towards green, but most definitely blue, and peppered with lazy wisps of cloud, as if it were already midmorning. And strangely enough, sandwiched between those two pieces of sky was a fragment of rainbow, a thick band, but very short, either end lost behind clouds. It made for such an odd tableau, like the sky wasn't sure what time it was...
