As outlandish as it may sound I actually agree with these guys on a good number of their points. I think there are far too many people out there. Not that the world can't handle more or anything, but things could be so much better with fewer of us around. I don't have any intentions of having kids, and I don't see why I should.
One of my friends from college used to say that she didn't want any kids, but she has three of them now. It's kind of strange how that happens. As I get older, though, I find myself becoming more resolute on the point.
The part that I find the most disturbing is how many people are expecting me to. They pester me about it (along with other tings) even though they have absolutely no say whatsoever in my life. For the most part it is a decision between my lover and myself. Yeah, my family can put their two cents in and my close friends are always listened to, but everyone else seems to think that they can tell me what I should be doing with my time and my life.
It's part of a disturbing tendency of humanity, and specifically Americans. We like to put our noses into other people's business where it most certainly doesn't belong. It really isn't anyone's business if I don't want to have kids. It isn't anyone's business if some high school girl likes to masturbate with a vibrator before going to bed every night. For some reason, though, people get furious about these (shockingly about the last one for some reason), and do their best to make sure that you don't have the right to chose. They don't want you to chose birth control. They don't want you to chose to carry or terminate a pregnancy. They want you to be drone. Just like them.
