Have you ever read a book that is exactly all you've ever wanted in the entire world? One in which all the characters, the locations, everything just makes you close your eyes and slip into a daydream of living in the story? Surrounded by the characters...there with them. Experiencing the same amazing things they go through. Living their lifestyle. Talking to them. It's perfect. You wish so hard everyday you could leave your own existence behind and sink into their world. Then you open your eyes, and you're disturbed by someone of your world. The same person you see almost everyday. A person who you have absolutely no interest in, but pretend to, for no real reason. No reason at all. And you're good at it. You're good at pretending this person means something to you. Your mind may even be kind enough to make you think that you do like them. That they're really interesting and that you want to have a friendship with them. And that's what you've got to settle with. It's the only thing you've really got. It's the book that's made me feel like this. When you spend hours reading about these amazing creatures, you snap back and can't help but be dissapointed by how mundane everyone is in comparison. ANGST!!!!
Oh, and read Lost Souls.
