Art and passion are funny things im learning. I've never been an artistic person but when it comes to my leatherwork I devote so much passion and love into what im doing it becomes quality art. My step father and mother have decided to take one of the few things that I hold closely to my heart and exploit it in a idiotic usless way for profit. No emphasis on quality, creativity...jsut copy and paste bullshit that's easy to make and will sell well claiming to be a leathersmith. Its complete and total bullshit.
I couldnt find anyone to invest in me enough to buy leather this last fwe months other than small custom jobs that peopel provide the leather for so I havent had much need for my gear...so I sold it to darrell to help his stock not realizing how bad of a choice i just made and can no longer take back.
my desire to be honest with my work and take pride in what I do undermines buisness anyway so its not like it would get much further than a craft....every kid has a dream and there life goes trying to strangle another.
