So, over in the Stargate: Atlantis fandom, photomanips regarding female John and Rodney are making the rounds (again) and this time, since I wanted some practice with photo manipulation anyway, I decided to join in.

Overall, I think I'm pleased with the results, at least for a first real attempt, though I do wish I had been able to figure out the trick to adding wrinkles without a tablet (or, at least, using PSP rather than the more manip-friendly PhotoShop). She seems a little young, maybe more in the era of Major Sheppard rather than Lt. Col. Sheppard because of it, but overall... I think I like it.
Thoughts, comments, etc. are appreciated.
Oh, and P.S., for those of you who watch nihil_est: I've begun posting my graphics at lickourlegs with likegunfire, frostthepie, verygoodbread, and iulieki. I'm even currently taking icon requests.
