I still prefer Mandarin. The third-person pronoun is "ta" and it's gender neutral.

Yes, I know my whole reaction is a product of my native language forming associations of sounds with meanings. I only speak English and the barest of Spanish, though. Maybe if I learn Hebrew, my mind will adapt itself to enjoy the "he" sound in the context of that language.

I know what you mean about the meaning of the word 'she'. Yes...

KT studied at my uni on a year abroad. Seeing as I'm at uni now, she may even have sat where I'm currently sitting... :P
