Closer and closer

Finished Chapter 24 tonight. Surprised me that, contrary to my earlier thoughts, I was able to rewrite rather than having to write from scratch. I was thinking about it at work today when the light bulb came on and I saw exactly where I could make the edits and make that chapter fit. The part that wasn't working for me makes sense now, because I need to move that confrontation to the last chapter. It'll be the coda to my story and wrap things up well.

So, between editing and rewriting, I added another 3881 words to Harbinger. Plus, I took a little time to do some reading . . . or in the spirit of my rewrite, I'm doing some re-reading. I've been enjoying Tee Morris's book Billibub Baddings and the Case of the Singing Sword. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good pulp noir story.

I need to get some convention paperwork done. I owe the program master of TrekTrak some information and I have to turn in my programming requests to Archon by the end of the week. Plus, I need to start working on what the heck I'm going to talk about at FantaSci at the end of July. It might also be a good idea to start scanning in all my Anime Cels if I get to do the panel at Dragon*Con on Collecting and Caring for Anime Cels this year. Still waiting to hear about that. There's just this little thing called life that keeps getting in the way.

Oh, and klingonguy, FYI, the letter goes out in the morning mail. Keep your fingers crossed.
