As if yesterday's randomness was not enough randomness, I give you MORE randomness...

I'm still a good girl! I practiced last night! :D And I'm continuing my post-to-LJ streak. Yippee.

I had to scrape ice off my car this morning. And it was snowing in places on my drive home yesterday evening. Um...spring? :p But at least it's clear and sunny today. And warming up. So I guess we're back to spring. For the moment. I just wish the weather would make up its darned mind...

I was listening to the Jurassic Park soundtrack (the first movie) this morning on the way in to work. I would REALLY like to play some of this music for orchestra this season, like maybe for next spring's concert, when we often do pops-like and/or soundtrack-y stuff. Need to send some MP3s to our conductor, nudge him... There are bits of that score that are just absoultely gorgeous. Like the music that's playing when the characters first see the brachiosaur. I remember watching that scene in the theather and being awed not by the whiz-bang CGI dinosaur but by the soaring, gorgeous music that was playing. *sigh*

Annnnnnnd...I now have a concrete idea for a Shepherd-Book-centric Firefly fanfic. *headdesk* It socked me in the head driving home from work yesterday. I'm now officially doomed. *whimper*

Finally, I snagged this from trekwriter:

The Everything Test
There are many different types of tests on the internet today. Personality tests, purity tests, stereotype tests, political tests. But now, there is one test to rule them all.

Traditionally, online tests would ask certain questions about your musical tastes or clothing for a stereotype, your experiences for a purity test, or deep questions for a personality test. We're turning that upside down - all the questions affect all the results, and we've got some innovative results too! Enjoy :-)

Personality You are more emotional than logical, more concerned about self than concerned about others, more religious than atheist, more loner than dependent, more workaholic than lazy, more rebel than traditional, more artistic mind than engineering mind, more idealist than cynical, more leader than follower, and more introverted than extroverted.

As for specific personality traits, you are adventurious (100%), outgoing (100%), religious (87%), intellectual (78%).
Stereotypes Young Professional100%Old Geezer67%College Student64%   Life Experience Sex21%Substances3%Travel59%
Politics
Your political views would best be described as Conservative, whom you agree with around 36% of the time.   Socioeconomic
Your attitude toward life best associates you with Middle Class. You make more than 86% of those who have taken this test, and 4% more than the U.S. average.

If your life was a movie, it would be rated G.
By the way, your hottness rank is 40%, hotter than 5% of other test takers.

One wonders how it's possible to be both a "young professional" and an "old geezer"...

And I guess that's enough random rambling for one day. Back to work with me.
