Sooooo...
My weekend consisted of landscaping, landscaping, watching Serenity, and did I mention landscaping? :)
We built a new 12'x3' garden bed, planted a mock orange bush, planted a wisteria vine that will hopefully grow nicely up and over the entry, and started on planting some hedges. The original plan was much more ambitious, but proved to be too much work for two people armed only with shovels. I did, however, get to acquire a new drill in the process. I like power tools. Made putting together the garden bed a heck of a lot easier.
But...man, am I stiff. There is not really a single muscle in my body that isn't tight and sore. And it really did a number on the carpal tunnel syndrome as well. My hands are nice and weak at the moment. Probably shouldn't be typing, but...here we are. :)
Serenity was good, but not as good, I felt, as the regular Firefly series. Maybe it's because River isn't one of my favorite characters, and the movie was kind of centered around her. I really liked the bad guy, though. He was a scary bad guy... But...but...Wash! Book! *sob* Two of my favorites gone. *sob*
