Because I always post on Saturdays...
...I must continue the trend. Or something, I guess.
Not a very exciting post, because it's not a very exciting day. 'Tis a lovely day here, though. 72 degrees, bright blue sky with some puffy clouds here and there, birds singing, hummingbirds buzzing around, etc., etc. All in all, it's a good day to do absolutely nothing, I think.
However, I did do something. I finally cleaned out the inside of my car, which I've been meaning to do since...since...uh, the July 4th weekend, I guess. Hey, at least I did it in the same month, right? :) And since I cleaned out the inside, I figured I might as well go ahead and wash the outside, too. So, I did. So now the Subaru is all nice and shiny black...
You know what this means, of course. By the end of the day, I'm quite certain that it will rain. The Weather Channel says that there's a 40% chance of rain today. I'll bet I just bumped that percentage up to 90. :p
Anyway, after the car was done, we took Solomon (the 12-ft Burmese Python) outside for some exercise, and we took some cute pics of him. (Well, we think they're cute, anyway. Probably many people can't bring themselves to think of a giant snake as "cute." But :p to them. :)) I'd post some pics, but the camera needs to charge before I can download them. So, maybe tomorrow.
And then, this evening, we're going to a little concert thing. For the past couple of weeks there's been a classical music festival going on in the area, and frostymook and her elder son Josiah took a little class for violinists. They're doing their little concert tonight, so we'll be going down to see it. Well, I'll be going down to see it; Frosty'll be going down to play in it. And then we'll maybe get some dinner or something.
I know, I know. We lead a very exciting life out here. *rolls eyes*
Then tomorrow...Tomorrow I get to comment on ravenclaw_devi's post about Mary Sues. That'll be fun. No really! It will! :)
EDIT, 4 PM: It's pouring outside. Of course it is. :p
