I think I nabbed this thing from someone a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. I don't remember who. But since I love these question things:
1. What time did you get up this morning?
I woke up at 6:30-ish AM, actually got up at 7:05AM. I always have to lay in bed for a little bit so that I can wake up before I actually have to physically get up. Otherwise, I'm grumpy for the rest of the day. :p
2. Diamonds or pearls?
Diamonds. 'Cuz they're sparkly.
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
I think it was the last Lord of the Rings one... I'd rather not go to the theater. The next one I'll see in the theater is the new Transformers movie next July...
4. What is your favorite TV show?
Don't watch TV, so I know nothing of anything that's on currently, except Lost. So I guess that's my favorite current show. From the past, though, I like Knight Rider, MacGyver, and MST3K.
5. What did you have for breakfast?
A cherry Nutrigrain bar, a raspberry yogurt, and some orange juice.
6. What is your middle name?
Two middle names: Mary and Mitchell
7. What is your favorite meal?
I have many that I like, none that I'd really consider a "favorite." Pancakes and sausage is high on the list, though... Or Frosty's sausage and bean thing that she makes...
8. What foods do you dislike?
Anything that comes out of the ocean. No fish or seafood. Even the smell of it makes me gag. Besides that, anything that has chunks of cooked tomato in it. They make me gag, too. And it's very hard to find spaghetti sauce that doesn't have chunks of tomato in it. *sigh*
9. What is your favorite Potato chip?
Barbara's yogurt and green onion. Yum! :)~
10. What is your favorite CD at the moment?
My various chamber music CDs, lately.
11. What kind of car do you drive?
2005 Subaru Outback XT Turbo, baby! I *heart* it. :D

I really like the Subaru, actually...
Failing that, a land yacht or a 1981-ish Datsun 280Z. ;) Or a 1982-ish black TransAm. :)
13. What characteristics do you despise?
Willful ignorance. Although I wouldn't say that I despise it. I don't really despise anything. It's just the characteristic that I find most annoying.
15. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you
go?
Back to Aruba, methinks. For, like, a month or two. Alternatively, I'd cruise from Chile to Antarctica and back. How's that for variety? :)

The walls and fixtures are white. The decor is ocean-themed, complete with dried pufferfish and cowfish hanging from the ceiling. Because we're weird.

Are you kidding? I live in Durango, CO. We don't have brand-name clothing here. Well, other than redneck-standard Carhartt's, that is... *rolls eyes*

Right where I am now, thanks. I *heart* Durango.

Evenings, I'd say.

Riding my horse. I'd be out of the house all day. I cherished those hours...

Library tech when I was in high school, retail manager, high school English teacher, and...whatever it is that I am now. Bookkeeper/draftsman/office manager? Something like that.

Twice. Kenya for my honeymoon. Before that, Egypt for 6 months on an internship kind of thingy with the University of Pennsylvania, during which I translated ancient Egyptian documents written mostly in hieratic into English and German. Of course, this was back when I could read hieractic. And speak German. They're both kind of "use it or lose it" skills, y'know? :)

Yes.

Um, I never failed it. Passed it the day after I got my permit. Helps that I learned to drive when I was 9 or so, I guess. That's what happens when you're a farm kid and your dad owns a body shop. :)

In other "exciting" news...I don't feel like working today. But on the plus side, today I got financing documents for the purchase of the Subaru that I'm currently driving. So, soon it will me MIIIIIIIIIIIINE! And then it can become the DeceptiSubaru!
....Hmmm. That's entirely too long. Maybe I'll just call it the Decepti'Ru. :)
And, in closing...Frosty, let's take the boys here, 'K? :) Think I've found the perfect all-inclusive... You even get free excursions and spa treatments. And there are non-stop flights from Denver to Cancun for pretty darn cheap...
