Hey! I know how to make it rain more in poor droughty Southwestern Colorado! It's so very simple!
I just have to wash my car every single day, and then it will rain every single day! :p
Because, you know, I can't remember the last time it rained here. Seriously, I can't remember. So I got up this morning and decided that I'd wash my car before it got too hot. So, I did. That was at about 9:30 this morning. About an hour ago, it started rumbling out there, but I was hopeful that there wouldn't be any rain associated with the rumbling. It was a reasonable hope because, often, thunderstorms here don't have any rain or else the rain evaporates before it hits the ground. But now...Now it's raining. Not enough to coat the car with water, mind you. Oh no. Just enough to leave BIG FREAKING WATER SPOTS ON MY OTHERWISE CLEAN, SHINY, WAXED CAR! :p (Lord, I sound like Sunstreaker. Someone please shoot me now.)
I know that I shouldn't complain, really. We need the water desperately. There's a fairly large wildfire burning just over the pass from us, and it'd be really nice if we didn't have a wildfire in our proverbial back yard. But, dangit, why did it have to pick today? Why not yesterday? Well, we all know the answer to that question, don't we? :p
In other news...Anyone want a Transformers bag and/or Transformers steering wheel covers? 'Cuz we have them up on eBay for sale. So if you're interested, check 'em out...
The Bag The Autobot Steering Wheel Cover The Decepticon Steering Wheel Cover Alas, we're only shipping to the US, so if any of my non-US friends are interested...you're out of luck. :) Although, if these don't sell on eBay, we might be willing to make a deal with out-of-the-US people that we actually know...
In still other news...Ah, nice quiet weekend. I love nice quiet weekends. Too bad they're so short. Or else, you know, I'd get more than just two more "Redemption" chapters under control... ;)
