Comment on this entry with a pairing I ship from one of my fandoms (and I mean any, not just ones in which I am currently active) and I will tell you:
1. When I started shipping them
2. What I think their challenge is
3. What makes me happy about them
4. What makes me sad about them
5. What moment I wish had never happened
6. Who I'd be

Ahhhhhh, Hound/Trailbreaker... *heart*
1. When I started shipping them
Long ago. Like, probably 1985. Although ironically enough I have yet to publish anything specifically about them, because I'm just...lame. But this is something which will be rectified shortly. It's just that this short 1-page vignette I wrote kind of mutated and grew like a friggin' cancer. :p
2. What I think their challenge is
Having time to themselves whilst fighting a war, I think. Which, I also think, is much easier for them to do on Earth than it was on Cybertron. Which is probably one factor amongst many that contributes to the fact that in my mind they both like the former a lot more than the latter.
3. What makes me happy about them
Oh...everything. :) They're my "old marrieds." Secure and happy and, in that sense, kind of like role models. Not that I create a lot of relationships, mind you, because I don't think that's entirely realistic, but if I were of that mindset, then I'd think that they'd all be looking to these two as an example. Because they're doin' it rite.
4. What makes me sad about them
Not a damn thing. It seems that nothing makes me sad about any of my pairs, except Starscream and Skyfire and...Well, if I decide to write more of "Redemption"'s 'verse, then even that will be worked on, slowly but surely. Nightwind is a goophead. Nightwind likes happy pairs. Or at least "eventually happy" pairs, overcoming obstacles and such.
5. What moment I wish had never happened
Can't think of any, not when it comes to them...
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other
Beachcomber, probably, for either of them. He's about the only one with enough laid-backness to tolerate their level of extreme!laid-backness. (Because, you know, laid-back people can be aggravating to those who are more Type A and in-your-face, which describes a lot of the other Autobots.) Were I of a mind to do threesomes, these three might qualify, actually. I have a "secret" fondness for Beachcomber, after all...
7. My happily ever after for them
Oh, they already have it, silly boys. If the war would end, everything would be right with their universe.
