Blah blah blah...

So, been away from here for a few days. :) Yesterday was strangely busy at work, and I spent almost the entire weekend arting. I started working on a Valentine's Day pic that, obviously, wasn't done by Valentine's Day but that hopefully will be done this coming weekend. Assuming that I keep being in arty mood, of course. Otherwise, it'll be done... ( Read more... )

The day was good - remember we Aussies live in the future ...

That description of you arting brings tears to my eyes because it is exactly how it is when I am WRITING!! Interesting. It brings to mind something you said in a recent email about Frosty seeing things like in a movie - in a series of frames - that is what I see when I write, and the frames are utterly absorbing. I don't know that it produces necessarily superior narrative results, however.

REALLY interesting - I can see how Frosty's insprations and your narrative abilities - including those to communicate perceptions - produced some of the results they have :-)

But - the Art - details??

Ah, you future-living Aussies. :) Hope you're having a nice...what? Middle of the night? :) Hey, I guess if the end of the world happens in December of 2012 or whatever it's supposed to be, we in America will know it's coming when all the Aussies just go *poof* all of a sudden. ;)

I think the absorption that happens to me when arting is because art is quite new for me, and I have to concentrate more on it. Writing has its zone, but it's just not as all-consuming now as art is. It just...happens. But yeah, Frosty and I work well together. She sees the big picture, overriding story arcs and action and such like movies that play in her head, while I obsessively focus down on smaller details. It's a good balance.

The art...is Hound/Mirage. And it's probably All Your Fault. ;)

First - it is not the middle of the night, but very early in the morning - 3am to be precise, Second, I should not be sitting here because I have to work tomorrow - but this is a not uncommon state of affairs! Third - when the big "poof" comes i like to think that one bright spark will blaze within the inferno and it will be mine. Amarericans will see this - and then everything will go "poof" over there too.

But, being an optimist, there is an alternative. None of it happens.

My fault? How can it be my fault? I'm not even a traditional M/H fan!! It's only about 10 days ago that i started articulating their smexual fantasies. This is bad! Q: can't you make it Raj and Skywarp? That's more romantic, at least. LOL !!

You don't have to work tomorrow. You have to work today. In what? About 5 hours? :) Geez, woman, you're like me. I go to bed at 2, am up again at 6:30. It's getting worse, it seems, as the menopause thing goes on. Funny thing is, I seem to function perfectly well. So long as I have caffeine *cuddles two-liter bottle of Diet Coke* ;)

Meh, I highly doubt any big poofs will happen, anyway. Leastwise none that were "predicted" by Mayans who reckoned time in eras, anyway, and the end of an era does not mean the end of the world. :p Why are people so obsessed with such "predictions" made by cultures that they know nothing about? :p

Hee hee hee...Nah, too late to make it Skywarp/Mirage, I'm afraid. Especially because the Hound part is pretty much done. He's easy. Mirage has...too much white. I HATE working with white! Why do I do this to myself? :p And I hate working with black, too, so a pic of Mirage and Skywarp would be TRULY hellacious for me ( ... )

It would be good if a *poof* happened now because i probably would not comprehend the implications :-)

I look forward to the too white Mirage in passionate embrace with the *extremely green* Hound. I pray that the next endeavour might be Raj/Starscream. No black - only a bit of white - lots of red and blue - mmmnnnn !!!!

And with that pleasant thought - sleepy time!! Hehehehe xx

*snicker*

And here we all thought it was Starscream who gets around... ;)

Meh, there's not really any passion in this art, I'm afraid. That's beyond my talents at this point. Maybe one day...but for now it's just kind of sweet. I think. I hope...
