Stupid schools. Stupid Dinobots. Stupid stupid stupid.
Is it me, or do kids in school get more stupid projects to do now than they used to? I mean, this kid's in high school, and it seems like every week he has some stupid project to do for some class or another. I remember doing stuff like that when I was in like 6th grade, but high school? Nah. Weird.
The thing is that it's usually not something he can do all by himself. He needs to go and get supplies (and since he doesn't drive yet, someone has to drive him. All the way into Durango, a half-hour drive one way), then he needs help putting things together and help finding resources for research and...Yeah, guess who gets to help him with that? So guess what I've been doing the last two nights? Doesn't help, of course, that the kid procrastinates out the wazoo and then tries to do everything one or two nights before the project is due. :p
Soooooo, I'm still working on the list. But at least it's the weekend, just about, and as far as I know I'm not doing anything. So, I'll have some time. Before the next school project kicks in. *rolls eyes*
'Course, I've also got Dinobots eating my brain. Still. I woke up in the middle of the night last night with a follow-up of that other thing I wrote in my head...which turned into something of an angstfest. Yeah, just what I need at 3AM: an angsting pteranodon. *headdesk* And then, THEN I got another Dinobot idea, something for all five of them, a little spot of cuteness... Then there's this bit of Hound/Trailbreaker that I still need to clean up, and then there's that next chapter of "What Goes Around" and...Geez, I've got a lot of crap to do. My brain hurts.
