I went to the Sheraton today to give them some of the stuff they requested I return. (My ties, badge, etc.) Well, on the way out, I stopped in with the IT guy and said my farewells. This was the conversation.

Me: Hey man.
IT Guy: Hey, how ya doin'?
Me: *laugh* Unemployed.
IT Guy: *chuckle* Yeah, man. Sorry about that.
Me: Yeah, well. That's why I called you. I just got to clicking.
IT Guy: Yeah, you were a hell of a Night Auditor too.
Me: *looked at him, somewhat astonished* Well.. Thanks man. I really appreciate that..
IT Guy: No problem. You were the best one.
Me: *looked at him, even more astonished* I wish someone'd told me that a month ago. *laughs*
IT Guy: Heh. Sorry about that. Everyone knew it. *he shruged*
Me: No problem, man. And thanks. It really means a lot to me.
IT Guy: *smiles and nods to me* Take care man.
Me: You too.
