First and second days of school...

Sep 07, 2005 18:35

I'm tired of school already.

Wow, that didn't take long. :\

Schedule:

Period 1 - Symphonic Band - Ms. Kalabza: This band is going to be amazing. I love Kalabza and the band is really small, just tenth and eleventh graders I believe, although maybe some really good freshmen...I don't know. But I've got Sara, Liz, Chris, Allie, Jess, Kara, and Kevin Barnett who's a cool kid and some other people, so it'll be really nice to have almost everyone together. :)

Period 2 - AP Language and Composition - Ms. Belli: This is about the only class that I'm absolutely terrified of. It's only the second day and we already wrote a timed essay and we have homework this whole week. Ew. I think there's only like fifteen people in the class, and as a result I sit right behind Sara (Bradshaw to Germain? Weird) and next to Greg Hedger. Lucky me. (Note the sarcasm.) As far as people for that class, I've got Sara, Jess, and Kevin so that should be fun. Uh, if I don't die, that is.

Period 3 - AP US History - Miss Suga: That's pronounced "SOO-gah", not "Shuga", and she's very sensitive about it. Just so you know. That's pretty much the first thing she said to us, hahaha. It seems like a good class, she's very nice and although she seems a bit bland I think she'll be a good teacher. In that class I've got Joe, Jess, Kevin (I think?) and Kara. Funness. At least I'll have someone to do the AP Conference essays with.

Period 4-5 - AP Physics - Mr. Rodichok: The grading system for physics is so crazy, but I like it. I also like how homework is extra credit. :D It seems like it's going to be a good class, but I'm not a great math person so it might be sorta hard for me. Yay for having a lot of gang people: Alison, Chris, Joe, possibly Allie, and Kara. That's going to be a fun class, although I have to say that as much as I complained about being in the auditorium for bio last year I miss it. :( It'll still be good, though.

Period 6 - A days - Research - Ms. Trinkle: I already love Ms. Trinkle, she's so laid back and helpful and she just seems like a really nice person. But I kinda hate the class I'm in, as it's only me, Vincent Pagan and Geoff Feldman, who some might remember as Goff. I'm gonna go nuts if I stay in that class but hopefully I'll get switched out of that. I'll leave those details till the end of this entry, though.

Period 6 - B days - Phys ed 10: Okay. I should not be in this gym class. I didn't pay attention to the teacher at all so there's not much to say except that I'm getting out of there as fast as possible.

Period 7 - French 4 - Mrs. Sommers: This will be a good-ish class too, pretty boring but there are good people (Sara and Alison) but I think I'm going to have to switch out of this one too. :\ At least I'll still have Mrs. Sommers and I love her. :)

Period 8 - Math 11 Honors - Ms. Cardinal: It's going to be slower paced than last year, but it'll be harder. Ms. Cardinal seems really nice, and a really good teacher. Ugh calculous. But again there are a lot of gang people in that class: Allie, Alison, Chris, Joe, and Mike Evans and he's like the funniest kid ever. And he has the same birthday as me, which is pretty cool.

Period 9 - Study Hall - Miss Suga: Getting out of this ASAP. But Joe and Katie Pinto are in it so if I can't get out it won't be soooooo bad.

Okay, as for schedule changes, I'm hopefully going to do what Kara did and change French to 6th period, have gym on A days during 7th period, and on B days havae computer science as an independent study. Then ninth period I'll have computer science as an independent study on A days and research on B days. Which would make pretty much my whole day with Kara which would be pretty cool.

Oh, and my locker fiasco was annoying but kinda funny. So yesterday in homeroom they tell me I have locker number 64 on the north side of the first floor. Unfortunately, some lockers were thrown away and 64 must've been among them, as the section ended at 36 and picked up again at 73. I went to guidance to tell them and they redirected me to room 210, so I went there and they gave me a new locker and combination. This locker actually existed but the combination didn't work, so I was kinda pissed. Ninth period today, I got a new combination for the same locker (the lady gave me the wrong one!! Grr) and it opens!! Yay! I now I have a locker. And the top doesn't open but I don't really care, I probably wouldn't be able to reach it anyway since it's on the first floor.

This is probably very redundant but I miss all the West people like whoa. :(

Alright, that's about it...leave me comments and tell me how your first few days of school were.
