NAFTA
So apparently Hillary and Obama are going at each other over NAFTA. Talk to me about this. While I recognize the ills of globalization and have spent time talking about them, I've gotta confess most of my economic knowledge comes from AP Macro, where I guess I got a pretty convincing case for the orthodoxy of free trade. Am I right to be ashamed of the Democrats for pandering to idiots on this issue, or is there something worth talking about?
Also, man it is awesome to listen to Obama and Clinton debate. It's like they actually know and understand what they're talking about. And it's even more awesome to listen to Hillary lamely complaining with SNL references while Obama keeps his cool. Though -- and it kills me to say this -- shame on you, Obama, for your insincere waffling on the public financing issue. You and McCain both promised!
