Gimmie zombies, slashers, things that go bump in the night. Hell, those aren't bad dreams, they are free movies created by my subconscious. Being a horror buff has it's advantages.
My true nightmares are based in reality. Bad things happening to people I love or if it's about me I usually wind up being mortally injured. Feeling my life drain away is uber-freaky, but I always wake up before I "die". Last night was a different kind of dream. I'll keep it simple- someone I love, loves me back, then I find out it was all an act, a cruel joke, and before I awake she is mocking me, laughing at my shock and dismay. Talk about my subconscious fucking with me.
Woke up, was major depressed for a few hours. Resisted calling my first, (and only), love, because that would have sent me spiraling down even further.
Gonna go get busy now, clean, then do the exercise bike for a while.
