Win! (No, literally)
Tonight was awesome. I came home to discover I had won a contest I forgot I entered. I won a free full version copy of Office 2008 Mac Special Edition with the Expression Media package. Best Buy lists that package at $499. Since Best Buy isn't always the best, I checked New Egg, which only had the upgrade, at $279 (compared to Best Buy's $299).
So that was pretty sweet, especially since Anitra's got her little business going now and she uses her Mac primarily. I am pleased.
Then we went and played D&D 4E with daedaleandeus, elenuial, hntrpyanfar, and dark_towhead(dm).
It was quite fun. I like the new mechanics, even if they are confusing to someone used to 3.5.

Edit: Even more awesome. anitra and I use Quicken for all our accounting. I was going through KBB and making sure we had our asset valuations correct. It turns out the valuation on my truck in Quicken was $400 too low, and the valuation on the Freestyle in Quicken was $1400 too low. Immediate plus of $1800 to our net worth! Win!
