Sinful Love
“Big brother…”
Sara’s fingers wrapped around a plastic ring, pulling it close to her chest, her quavering, rosy lips kissed the jeweled center of the ring and for a brief moment she could feel Setsuna’s slim arms around her, protecting her.
“Setsuna…where are you?”
Hot tears streamed down her face, salty droplets slide of her chin and onto the rug.
She heard her mother washing dishes, on guard in case Setsuna tried to come back. But that was all Sara wanted. She wanted her big brother. Her Setsuna. His warmth, his body, his love… But he said he didn’t want her anymore.
That couldn’t be true though. Setsuna had to love her. No matter how sinful their love was he just had to love her or all her feelings had been for nothing more than an illusion.
Had all the good times they shared together been a lie?
Sharing ice-cream.
Going to the park.
Running away together.
Was all of that nothing more than a simple lie?
It couldn’t have been. He had to love her, just like she loved him. Setsuna had to lying when he said he didn’t love her. That just had to be it!
“Big brother…Setsuna…I love you.” Her quiet confession was only heard by the walls.
Setsuna was just so far away. The love of her life wasn’t here to watch over her, to comfort her and it was all her mother’s fault!
Her mother just had to cling so hard to the light…and that’s why Setsuna wasn’t here. Together they were creating an unforgivable sin. A sin that would throw them both into the depths of Hell.
Even in Hell she would still have her Setsuna.
“Please, God forsake us!” She screamed, unaware of her surrounds and the shattering of a glass in the background.
She kissed the ring, as the tears on her face dried. And for a few brief seconds she felt Setsuna’s lips pressed up against hers and his arms wrapped around her, holding her in his protective embrace.
“I love you so much.”
