People are entitled to their own beliefs, but I think the crap that is in the newspaper is pushing it a bit far. There was a Marine from the FM area who died while over in Iraq, and the funeral/memorial services is this week. Some dumb arses are planning on picketting his funeral! And the reasoning behind it is riddiculous!
Here is what it says in the paper:
"Last week the controversial group announced 10 members of the church would picket 30 minutes before Opskar's 10:30 a.m. funeral at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead.
The church claims a bomb that went off in their church was detonated by the U.S. government and that those same kinds of bombs are killing U.S. soldiers because God hates America's tolerance of homosexuality."
The Marine isn't even gay! The group had their church blown up, and since because Opskar was killed by a similar thing....protesting homosexuality.
