SON OF UPDATE!
Lol, well I think it's common knowledge that my lappy is back and in tip top shape.
The guys at Best Buy were AMAZING! When we bought Aeolus (my lappy, named after the King of the Wind gods in Greek myth), we thought we had bought the additional accident insurance that would allow us to get it fixed should something happen to it -like the spill that happened- well, when we talked to them (and they were able to give us a copy of the original recipt) they informed us we had purchased just the regular insurance NOT the Accident insurance.
Well, push comes to shove and we explain our story to the customer service reps at Best Buy. He's able to refund us about 50% of the original insurance purchase price and we spring for the rest, which allows us to have the Accident Insurance and allows us to get Aeolus fixed without having to pay for parts and labor. ^__^ I did a happeh dance.
