So this weekend since the JWA show was cancelled, I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Excellent book. I think the "named character" bodycount is acceptably high. I mean, come on, I figure the big end war we'd have a Shakespearian tragedy on our hands, but you can tell Lord of the Rings greatly influenced Rowling. You can't kill EVERYONE. You can, however, kill a lotta fucking people! I'll say 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... at least eight characters that have been introduced by the fifth book died in this one. Nice.
For the record, my favorite character died in Order of the Phoenix.
So if you're reading still (come ON people I finished Sunday before 6pm and didn't have it until noon Saturday!)... get a move on. I fully intend to blow the ends of the book by Friday UNLESS YOU TELL ME YOU ARE READING IT!
